RS Feva World Championship
The second RS Feva World Championship takes place from 2-9 August, also at Gottskar in Sweden and with over 100 boats entered from 10 nations, mostly sailed by juniors aged 12 to 16.

The Feva became a full ISAF International Class in November 2006 following strong growth around the world. In fact it has been the world’s best selling two person sailboat in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

The RS Feva is the perfect modern sailboat to help young sailors make the transition from Optimist to youth classes. It introduces them to teamwork and double handed racing, with an asymmetric spinnaker and excellent performance that make it very appealing to a new generation. Also made in rotomoulded polyethylene, Fevas are strong, affordable and highly successful with fleet operators.

The RS Feva will be used for the Australian Youth Olympic festival in 2009 and the next RS Feva World Championships will be held in Sydney, Australia in 2010 and then in the Great Britain in 2012, just before the Olympic Games.
